Barron Scott Schimberg

AIA, LEED AP

Barron’s love for architecture started in 6th grade after meeting the architect designing an addition to his parents’ home. From the moment he saw the blueprints, he knew his career path.

Immediately after college, Barron worked 10 years for a prominent architectural firm in Sarasota, Florida. In 2004, Barron decided to form Schimberg Group, initially a construction management company and growing into an architectural and interior design firm.

Schimberg Group combines a high level of design and detail with an efficient, well-organized management system. Barron and his Schimberg Group team seamlessly complete projects with tight schedules, defined budgets, and interesting design challenges.

Barron takes pride in getting things done smoothly and efficiently. He aims to deliver an architectural process that not only helps to increase a client's revenue or donor funding, but also provides an enjoyable, fun experience.

Every project is approached with collaboration and creativity. Barron includes his entire team and often the contractor when working through design charrettes.

Through an active internship program at Schimberg Group, he enjoys the opportunity to teach architecture to interns and mentor the next generation of future architects.

Outside of work, Barron coaches his Miracle League Baseball team, a non-profit focused on providing differently-abled children and adults the opportunity to play baseball. He has become a Crossfit nut and can hustle you any day in a game of Scrabble.
