I love being part of the creative process. No matter what creative branch you practice, you collect all these pieces of history, environment, fashion, personal interests, art, research, brand, a quote, trends, etc. that spark an idea and pull them all together with function and aesthetics. This creative process produces a wonderful story, product, or interior that one can experience and then inspire others.”

Kat Gonzalez Pereira

Interior Designer

Growing up, Kat always had a crayon or pencil glued to her hand. She has always enjoyed sketching people, objects, and the environment around her. Being placed in advanced art and graphic design classes throughout her early schooling led to broadening her creative interests in product design, architecture, and fashion design.

It was not until Kat spent some time with a family member who renovated and restored historic properties in upstate New York, that she felt truly inspired and realized the joy she experienced from hearing all their stories of the details, surprises, and solutions they experienced during their construction and design process.

Kat graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design. Since then, Kat has spent the last 11 years in Boston, MA and Sarasota FL, honing her listening skills so she fully understands what her client desires, and creates intuitive designs that meet and surpass their expectations.

As the Interior Designer in the firm, Kat is involved in every phase of the design process. She is not just creative, but organized, making sure every interior detail is accounted for from specifications, ordering furniture, to the final installation day.

Outside of work, you will find Kat kicking a soccer ball, exploring nature preserves with her dog, and drawing and painting.
