Studio South Fitness

Studio South worked with Schimberg Group on two interior renovation projects. In both locations, the build-out began with a shell.

Through our consultative approach, we learned that it was very important to the client that the design incorporate Studio South's strong brand. In both spaces, through the use of color, texture, and graphical elements, the design creates eye-catching and energetic work-out environments.

The Mira Mar location was particularly challenging. Situated under a parking garage. The original bleak, concrete exterior was easily overlooked. We used this as an advantage, transforming it into a highly visible main entrance. Inside, by removing several interior walls, sunlight now spills in from a light well in the southeast corner that also acts as a signage wall. The two-story lobby is filled with fabric 'sails,' reflective of the owner's desire for a nautical theme.

Both locations were dynamic spaces which members, owners and employees enjoyed equally.
